§Debate Free Trade vs. Tariffs
1.Presentation must include: Read; answer questions 1-7; to be turned in – 30 points
2.Create a powerpt. Slide for each and a side by side comparison; use this to guide your ‘debate’. 30 points
3. -split team into two sides…
4. -conduct debate; it must use specific arguments-FACTS not opinions that I can recognize as part of the reading, etc. -30 points
5.The class will vote on which side ‘won’-Team participation- 10 points

PASSING STUDENTS MAY PRESENT Monday or Tuesday
#2 Interviews with individuals in a Latin American Country
Include examples of how Free Trade or Tariffs affect companies and people in other
Countries (such as Latin America)—50 points extra credit
1.Answer questions 1-5; turn in and include information in debate- 20 points
2.Effectively integrate Stories of all individual and how trade impacts their lives + or - 20 points
