•The business cycle of 2009 causes unemployment and more poverty. We can/cannot change unemployment or the fact that the poor will get poorer.

Video Advertising Presentation: Each team must work together. Each team member must be responsible for at least one part of the presentation. However, all will be graded for completeness and participation.
Presentation 50 points; notes, 25 points, written analysis, 25 points = 100 points

NEXT TEN BUDGET CHALLENGE PAPER
I hope you completed the Challenge by now!! If not, go do it!! 100 extra credit points!!
However the following must be done properly and thoughtfully.
After you complete the challenge, and settle on a final budget...go back and review
each of the 17 pages/items you must analyze. For each page you must do the following:
1. Explain your first and second (next best) choices.
2. Using the concept of Opportunity-Cost,
explain the opportunity and cost....then compare the advantage of one over the other.
So, for each page you will explain your thinking...by explaining the Opportunity and Cost.
Remember, the current budget is a 22 billion dollar deficit!!! You must try to balance or
reduce the deficit as best you can....with good reasoning and explanation!! So, this will probably
be three pages of typed writing. Attach to your print outs!!!
